Meet DerekWhat sets our cleanup apart
QuickBooks Online catch-up and error correction from a CFO-led team in Dallas, Texas. Correct books are traceable books, and this is how we work.
Traced to the vendor
Every expense is recorded against the vendor or customer it belongs to, so each line on your income statement can be followed to the underlying transaction.
Questions, not guesses
When the purpose of a transaction is unclear, we list it for you to answer instead of choosing a category to finish faster.
No balancing entries
Your accounts agree to their bank and card statements because each transaction is right, not because an unsupported entry was posted to force a match.
A stated price and timeline
Your price is shown up front, and standard delivery is 15 business days from the day we receive your complete records.
What we correct in your books
Four services, each built to leave you with a file you can rely on.
QuickBooks cleanup and error correction
We find what is wrong, trace it to the underlying transaction, and correct it with documentation. Miscategorized entries, duplicates and misapplied payments are resolved at the source.
Catch-up bookkeeping
Months or years behind is recoverable. We bring your books current, month by month, so your reports reflect what actually happened in the business.
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Every account tied out to its statements. Differences are investigated and explained rather than forced into agreement.
Chart of accounts and setup repair
A chart of accounts structured for how your business really operates, so your income statement and balance sheet answer the questions you ask.

We do the work
You are told plainly about anything else we find, and nothing extra begins without your approval.
Stay current
Keep your books right with monthly bookkeeping, if you want it.
What shapes your price
Straightforward catch-ups are priced instantly from a few answers. When one of these applies, we prepare your price personally. If we find more once work begins, we explain it in plain terms and quote it before any additional work.
Where you sell
Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce and similar platforms add sales, fees and payouts that each need to be recorded and tied out.
Payroll
Payroll liabilities have to agree to the reports from your payroll provider.
Sales tax
Collected sales tax must match what was reported and paid.
Unpaid invoices and bills
Old balances need to be traced, matched to payments or resolved with your approval.
How far behind, and how many accounts
More months and more accounts mean more transactions to review and reconcile.
Prior years that need correction
Opening balances that do not agree to source documents or a filed return take extra work to correct properly.

What does QuickBooks cleanup include?
Cleanup means finding and correcting what is wrong in your QuickBooks file: miscategorized transactions, duplicate entries, unreconciled bank and credit card accounts, and a chart of accounts that no longer fits your business. Each correction is supported by documentation and traced to the underlying transaction.
What does the $99 starter include?
The $99 starter covers one bank or credit card account in QuickBooks Online with fewer than 100 transactions in one month. The transactions are categorized and the account is reconciled for that month. It requires accountant access to your QuickBooks Online company.
What is the fixed-price assessment?
The assessment is a prepaid review of your QuickBooks file for owners who are not ready to commit to the full work. You receive a written report of what we found, a defined scope with a fixed price, and a short recorded video walkthrough. Nothing further begins until you approve it.
How is the full catch-up priced?
Straightforward QuickBooks Online catch-ups are priced instantly on this site from your accounts, monthly transactions and months behind, and the price is emailed to you. Anything more involved, such as payroll, sales tax, more than five accounts, over 300 transactions per account a month, or another accounting system, is quoted personally. The $99 starter and the $299 assessment are fixed prices. Standard delivery is 15 business days from the day we receive your complete records. See how we categorize correctly.
What if you find more problems than expected?
We complete the work that was priced, tell you plainly what else we found, and quote it before doing any additional work. You decide what happens next.
Do you need access to my QuickBooks file?
Yes. You invite us to your QuickBooks company as an accountant user. You remain in control of your file and can remove access at any time.
Which accounting systems do you work with?
We work in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 50, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Wave and other systems. Instant prices on this site are for QuickBooks Online. For other systems we prepare a personal quote.
What is the difference between GAAP-compliant financial statements and bookkeeper-prepared statements?
Statements can add up correctly and still not follow a recognized standard. GAAP-compliant statements apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles consistently, which is the standard lenders, investors and buyers expect when they rely on your numbers.
Where is your team based?
We are based in Dallas, Texas and serve businesses across the United States. Our accountants hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, and a CFO reviews our catch-up, cleanup and assessment work before it reaches you.
